My yellow lab loves these treats! I put them in the yeti’s belly and microwave for 60 seconds. (Do not use without a yeti!) Choking hazard!!Then I make her wait @15 minutes so she doesn’t get burned. She waits for Alexa to tell her it’s ready. So cute. It was too hot the first time-when I just went by touch. She was not interested after the 1st bite. (15 minutes is maybe overly cautious, but I’ll never give it to her if it isn’t 12 minutes or more). She’ll throw her yeti at me many times a day:) Unfortunately, I don’t fill it that often (maybe 3 x a week) because she has a sensitive stomach. On this light schedule of these treats, she’s had zero problems.I make her eat this treat on a towel or her bed. Slightly messy. It’s basically like a Rice Krispie treat for dogs.My Pitbull enjoys crunching his yak cheese out of his Yeti every evening. Just make sure you allow the cheese to cool down after being in the microwave for 1 minute. Also make sure you place the yak nugget deep inside the yeti so that it’s harder for them and to keep them entertained for longer. Also my pitbull has a very sensitive stomach and we have had No issue’s whatsoever! My dogs LOVE these. I got a toy that you put them in, then microwave. My dog will stare and yell at me the whole time it’s microwaving and cooling down (I put it in the freezer or in front of the AC until it’s cool enough.) and while my couch has cheese crumbs all other it, I can actually get work done.My pug Guppy (2 years old) absolutely loves these Yak Chew Nuggets! When he smells then coming out of the microwave he truly goes wild. I ordered the yeti to put them in, but because they're on backorder Guppy has already gone through a whole bag of just the plain microwaved nuggets, and they entertain him all the same. In the past, Guppy has had full Yak Chew bones and I microwaved the ending bits, but they puffed inconsistently and burnt before they were fully puffed. These nuggets on the other hand inflate fully and quickly (only 1 minute in the nuker!!!) and are an all natural treat my pup LOVES.ONE WARNING: If you pup really takes their time with the chew - as it cools it will begin to make sharp snapping noises. Must be the stress snapping inside like glass or something?!? Guppy fell asleep next to an inflated nugget and I nearly went crazy trying to figure out why his breathing had hard random clicking/cracking sounds. Alas - crazy dog dad was hearing the nugget cool under his chin... this info could either help you or really make me sound like a crazy dog dad :)First review. Satisfied with the product but was a packaging error. Great customer service. Will order again. You have to really puff these up in the microwave so they can be edible. Even then, there were hard spots. Absolutely not recommended for dogs under 30 pounds due to broken teeth hazard. Yeah, it's cute but seriously, there are puzzle toys and bully sticks to keep Fido entertained. My dog loves theseLOVE THESE but there is a trick to using them. Most of the nuggets become overly large so after I take them out from the microwave I immediately take a knfe and cut them up. We will use a kitchen hammer to make even smaller portions for the tiny one. I crumble the pieces for our Chipin (9LB mini Pin Chi mix) and the Corgi eats the smaller pieces just fine. They are to be chewed not swallowed so if you have a piglet like we do (the Corgi of course) you will want to just make sure the pieces are big enough for him/her to chew. These are so healthy and a much better chew alternative then others I have seen, They do take a bit to get use to and we found if they seem uninterested it is because it has a new scent and they have no idea what to do with it. As soon as you have it in smaller portions you will be set. Once your dog chews these they will love them!WARNING: Do not give these to your pets unless you microwave them first. If you do not have them in the fluffy form you will casue choaking hazards like what I have read here.
