My 7 year old daughter has a repetitive movement disorder, or "stereotpy", that makes her either flap her hands or squeeze her cheeks very hard when she gets excited, happy, or nervous; it's rather cute and we call it her "happy dance" as to not give it a negative feeling.Recently we noticed that she woud shift her jaw after watching a movie. That's because she was pressing on her cheeks too hard. Her pediatrician suggested we get a stress ball. We tried a regular stress ball, but it was too big and hard for her. She found this little cow here on Amazon, and she loves it! It doesn't make any noises, so it doesn't interrupt her focus while watching a movie. she thinks it's the coolest thing, and really likes the eyes that pop out. I've noticed that the eyes don't pop out all of the time, but thats from the strenght she puts into it.We will be ordering a few more poppin peepers soon. We are thinking of having one for her at school and at the grandparental units house.
