We have had cats for 35 years and they have been as picky with toys as they are with food, preferring to play with the plastic rings off milk bottles to most manufactured cat toys. However, with the recent addition to our home of two kittens we decided to give these a try. They enjoy the interactive play of the teaser wand for a good 20 or so minutes. But have absolutely NO interest whatsoever in the 2 Rainbow Balls (we did not receive 3), Roller Cage with bell (never had a cat who cared for this), the 3 plastic balls w/bells, or the Zone ball (cannot even figure out what this might be, so it's possible we did not receive it). Out of all the many toys in this multi-pack, this is a great many not to have interest in (which makes them that much more expensive and, frankly, disappointing overall) - and we've tried various times since October of 2018 (it's now mid-January 2019). What the kitties do enjoy and cannot get enough of are the Sparkle balls - they would love 1,000 of these! They are wildly entertaining for the cats and keep them so busy, as do the crinkle balls. Who knew crunched up Mylar was such fun for cats? From time to time I find them knocking about the Interactive Tumbler but this isn't something that keeps them entertained and out of trouble for more than a few minutes at any one given time. Recently, one of the kitties has taken a liking to one of the two mice (we didn't get three as noted) but we don't see them lasting long. They appear to made of a shiny polyester cording wrapped around cardboard, or some such similar materials. They just do not appear to be built to last. And, lastly is the yarnball - UGH! Whose brilliant idea was this? If an animal ingests a length of yarn/string like this it could wrap around their intestines and become potentially fatal. Every pet owner must know this, right? I clipped off the trailing yarn end and made sure there were no other loose areas where kitties claws could get under, loosen and pull up a loop to start destroying this thing with the possibility of it ending up in her belly somewhere. I love my cats, I don't want them to have to be subjected to unnecessary surgery or death due to a stupid, thoughtless cat toy, so in the end the yarnball ended up in the trashbin. We love this set. We have a super playful kitten, and she is sometimes hard to keep up with, so we got a ethora of toys to ensure she won't get bored. This is a cool set. The snake ribbon toy is really cute and nice. The bells are pretty average, but our kitten carries the mice around like they are her big pride and joy! We also love the chenille like yarn ball around here. All in all great affordable set of car toys. We are pleased. This toy comes with attachments so I thot it would great because my cats can be a little rough playing with faux birdies after time. However,,, it was such a disappointing shame that once I’d clipped on the first feather toy, I couldn’t fit the life of me pry that thing off for a different attachment to be snapped on! UGH!!!I tried my long strong nails, I tried tweezers too, to open the metal clippy thing (similar to a keychain) but to no avail,,, and I’m not a weak person (and yes, I had my hub also try as he’s a big incredibly strong guy) — This thing is a huge FAIL!So while my cats loved the toy with the one attachment I feel extremely cheated in that there’s no way to utilize the other toy attachments that I paid for. I’d specifically chose this item because it had several toy attachments,,,Next time I just buy less expensive with only one attachment already on,,, More disappointed than anything else as I’d thot it would be great to switch out the attachments - but it’s seriously impossible.I had low expectations going in because of such a low price but my cat went NUTS for these wands. I never spend money on toys, being that she’d rather play with my hair ties and water bottle caps but she loves these wands! I’ve never seen her more excited. The toys are a nice quality and the feather toys are easy to interchange. I have a feeling I’ll need more of these. So many great toys! I'll focus on my 1 year old ragdoll's favorites:My Pixel loves the weeble mouse and carries it around! The crinkle balls always end up in her water dish xDThe snake is great to walk around with; Pixel tracks it by the rattle in the head! She hasn't quite figured out the yarn ball, but when I throw it, she loves to race after it!My cat is 6 months old, and she is so excited about these wand toys. The wands are made really well, one is like a delicate fishing wand and easy to swing around! She is absolutely going happy crazy!! Highly do recommend!!!Especially loved the telescoping toy wand. Good price for fun assortment of toys! Cats usually see red and green colors, My cat Boomer loves to chase & leap at all of them, but mostly the red boa-shaped and feathered fish-shaped toys! Great price!I hot this for a friend and her kittens love it. They have already destroyed one of the teasers, so it is great that it as 3 extra. A great value for your money.
