My oldest husky (2 years) has destroyed every toy I’ve bought my five dogs, except for Benebone toys and not this ball. She is absolutely obsessed with squeaky balls and it’s her life goal to destroy them as quickly as possible. I’ve tried tons of toys that were marketed for aggressive chewers but she has always torn them up within an hour. This ball has lasted us a month and she not her siblings have gotten even a small piece of this ball. All 5 dogs are obsessed with them and can’t destroy them; I bought a total of 3. It must be magic; that’s all I can say.My dog, a shepherd mix, is both a fetch-maniac, and an ardent de-squeaker. He LOVES balls, and he LOVES squeaky things. Other squeaky things have survived his attention for, at best, up to 10 minutes. Tennis balls survive his attention for maybe a day before he peels the felt surface off. This orbee squeaky ball became his instant favorite toy from the moment of it's arrival, and at 1 1/2 weeks still has full squeak and is still his favorite toy EVER!! Okay, so 1 1/2 weeks isn't FOREVER, but it is orders of magnitude longer than any other toy he's been given!Re: other posts warning about the plastic tags, I initially bought the orange, and have since gotten another orange as well as others colors as backups, as he tends to lose his balls in the backyard woods/creek. With both of the orange ones, I was EASILY able to extract the interior plastic tag-remnant with tweezers; pink and yellow I was less successful at the extraction. I'm not sure whether this is because it is harder to see the remnants, or if those tags are installed more "deeply". For the pink and yellow, I used pliers to stretch the tag, then used scissors to cut the plastic off as close to the ball surface as possible. I suspect/hope that the unreachable portions of the tag remnant will not be an issue, as they will be as inaccessible to my dog as they are to me.I - and Jaeger - are SUPER pleased with this ball!Oh Wow! Our dog is just nuts over this ball and with all the chewy, there is not one bit of damage. When Stella has this ball, it's ALL about the ball. Just be warned, your dog may not want to give it up. We have to switch food for the ball so it can be put away.5 stars times 100!I’m pretty sure my dog has replaced me with his new ball. Very unique structure, the squeaker is inside the ball. The ball also is slick & durable so he can’t chew it apart or sink his teeth in. The squeak is even unique! Considering I have a 85lb Pit who destroys everything, I’m beyond shocked it has lasted over a week and still going. He literally brings the ball wherever he goes, including bed! Best ball I have ever purchased in history of dog toys!My dog has been able to destroy every ball and toy I’ve got her over the past two years, until I found this ball ❤️ which also led me to buy the orange squeak ball as well. No matter how much my dog chomps a plays with her new ball, she can’t destroy it. I love that the LED light is deep in the ball. It lights up for a long time too so when I throw it in the dark for my dog and she either gets it or not, I can still see where it is. I love this ball and this brand! My dog is a Great Dane, Mastiff, Pit Bull, mix and can love her toys to the point of destruction, so to have something that is a ball and stays a ball, is a durable never ending enjoyment, worth every penny!I have 2 GSD’s that are extreme chewers I bought 2 of these balls and they are still perfect after 2 weeks of chewing. The squeaker is no longer squeaking but I don’t care peace and quiet but happy with durability.I'll start by saying when I saw this ball retails for $16... my initial reaction was that I'd never pay that much for a ball that I know my squeaker obsessed dog will destroy in no time. On Prime Day it was on sale for $11 and after reading reviews, I decided I'd rather waste $11 than $16 if it didn't work out. Well... I'm here to say this ball is absolutely worth every penny. My squeaker obsessed wiener dog and 100 lb goldendoodle are constantly "fighting" over who gets this ball. They chew on this ball ALL the time and it doesn't have a single dent or mark. I will for sure be buying another one at full retail price as it's for sure worth $16.My dog will literally tear every toy/boy to shreds in seconds or minutes. This ball has lasted about a month even two at times. We have continuously bought this ball every time and my dog absolutely loves it and that's all that matters!Awesome. My power chewing, possessive, strong staffy loves this ball and the fact it actually squeaks is awesome.Certainly the only squeaking ball I've owned that I can give him that doesn't get destroyed in seconds.Nice and visible (orange) for fetch in all lighting and environments. The bounce isn't great but it is unpredictable which to me is an asset and just adds to playing fetch. Not very easy to remove from my dogs mouth but they never are!I can leave him unattended with it at not worry about coming back to a mess. Not cheap for a single ball in comparison to others but worth every penny!Saving loads by not having to replace cheap and/or supposedly premium products that just don't stand up to his chewing.Fast delivery.Me and my dog both love it.This is a great toy and my dog loves it. It feels way more durable than any other toy my dog has to chew on.However, it is quite hard to squeeze the ball to make it squeak. In a way this is a good thing as it means that it doesn't squeak too often when the dog is chewing it. I need to use both hands to squeeze the ball to get the dogs attention. After a few months of use, I've found that the squeaker has become temperamental, as if it has rotated around in the ball. However, my dog still loves it as he doesn't realise that it doesn't always squeak now.I've seen my boy destroy a 'tough toy' in under 20 seconds, but Orbees genuinely seem to be indestructible. They're my go-to toys for any friend who complains their dog wrecks toys. 8 years and almost every model in the range - still haven't had a casuality! This squeaking ball is loved by a full grown labrador- he has to put effort in to chew strongly enough to make it squeak, but he loves a challenge! Probably best for a large breed or strong jaw (staffing type) to get the noise. He's had this for 3 hours now. You may consider this very early days but previous best for a squeaky is 10 minutes and the best for any ball shaped object is about half an hour. We have an American Staffie you see and that is 3 hours of constant power chewing. Thus far it's still intact, it's still bouncing and it still squeaks. He's really not used to this and he's determined to destroy it, should take him ages. The definite winner in the Squeaky Ball category.Pup loves these light up balls - great for morning/evening garden playtime. SeemVery durable and have a nice slightly squishy texture which my pup seems to love. Only downside is that the light doesn’t stay on for long once activated so if pup can’t find it/doesn’t fetch it quickly … it’s hard for me to find in the dark!
