This item contains three discs, only two of which have episodes on them--eight episodes in all. Four of the episodes have audio commentary, which is typically interesting (compared to the commentary on other SATC season DVDs). Of course you have to have this if you are a serious SATC fan, since the series ends here...but compared to the earlier seasons of the series, Season 6, part II is rather anemic...the writing falters (no spoilers, but there is an absurd and improbable scene in McDonald's whose premise just doesn't ring true! plus, it's *annoying*; and Miranda is given a line in the final episode which she must have balked at delivering, it's so deeply lame); the characters' wrapups seem rushed and a bit unsatisfying; the writing just doesn't have the zing of earlier seasons. The "special features" are minimal...just a few deleted scenes, some of which are brief in the extreme, and there is no accompanying commentary about why they weren't used in the episodes. There is a writers' panel discussion on disc 3 which is worth viewing, but...it would have been nice to have more commentary on the deleted scenes. Disc 3 also includes alternate endings for the series finale, again without commentary. These have the look of having been filmed simply for the "confusion factor"--just so the crew couldn't leak the ending before it aired. On the up side: you do get to finish out the series; I for one liked the season finale they aired; the commentary on 4 episodes (as I said above) is good.I bought this simply because I had all the others, and wanted a complete set. Not the best season of SATC by any means...I think the writers phoned it in here.I still give it four stars since it is better than most other DVDs out there, and SATC was really a terrific show overall.
