My French Bulldog loves this toy! Bulldogs are bred to tug, and this toy holds up. I have washed it, and it held up to the washer and dryer as well. I would buy it again. However, ours is holding up very well so I probably won't have to buy another one for a long time.My German Shepherd LOVES his Unstuffies. I love that they are Unstuffied. These are NOT durable, but there really is no way that any toy could stand up to the brutality that my shepherd will inflict. They last him about 3 months before they are missing all limbs, and are literally chewed in half. He takes great pleasure in ripping their tails off, usually in a matter of hours. This is no reflection on Zanies - they make a well made product, that my dog really really enjoys. Part of what makes these toys so fun for him is that they are so much fun to kill, and he loves that they have TWO squeakies that he can annihilate. We've probably gone through every character of Unstuffies. The only one that I might not purchase again is the Opossum... It looks like a proper dead thing once he gets done chewing it to bits, and while it doesn't bother me, he has given company a scare with it a few times! My dog is very destructive with toys . . . period. The first thing she does is rip the stuffing out them. Next, she goes after the squeakers. She loves this "unstuffies" toy. When I first give it to her she goes after the two squeakers, but since I know she does this, I keep an eye on her until she digs a small hole to get at the squeakers (usually 20 to 30 minutes). I then take the toy and remove the squeakers so she does not swallow them. With the squeakers removed, she plays with it without being obsessed. It will then last a few months before it's ripped to shreds. You might ask why I just don't cut the squeakers out before giving it to her. Well, she absolutely loves going after the them. Yep, that's right, she's spoiled. My bad! This is a great toy for our young golden retriever. We ended up attaching it to the end of a strong piece of PVC pipe (drilling small holes and using zip ties) and this has been his favorite toy/game since he was a very young puppy! We hold it and spin it and lift it and he chases and grabs it. He's become very smart in guessing our moves and grabbing the coyote! Her puppy loved itGot the gopher as a gift for an office dog, she loves it. Being without stuffing, there's no mess, just good fun. It doesn't fly very well when throwing it, but goes far enough to keep interest. Nice toy! This toy is well made from quality materials. My dog always removes the squeakers as quickly as possible, but in spite of lots of hard use and chewing, the unstuffed coyote is holding up very well. Also good for playing tug-of-war. Dog enjoys this toy a lot! It's held up to our dachshund about a month and a half with only a small tear at the tail attachment. That's a WIN. I will most definitely buying more of these.
