love duck sound very happyMy year-and-a-half-year-old grandson loves blowing this. He thinks it is hilarious. It's pretty cute and I love the corniness of the little character, but I was hoping that it would sound more like a train whistle. It sounds very much like a loud duck call - could get annoying.... I was also concerned because he walks around with the whole head of the toy in his mouth and it could definitely be a choking hazard if it came off. But it seems to be extremely well made and in no danger of coming off. And he's pretty much trained out of putting it all the way in his mouth like that. Overall it's a cute toy and very well made.Great for a child just getting to that point where they can learn to useit. My 1 year old grandson loves it. He was so proud when he finally was able to do it after we had been maing noise with it for quite some time.It sounds like a dying duck, but it's not as loud as the trumpet version sold by this brand. My 9 month old loves both. Easy to handwash and airdry.I remembered this toy from when I was little and had to buy it for my nephew. It’s adorable and big enough for a toddler to grab. The “whistle” is more like a duck call so not terribly annoying ?My kids had this toy as a Baby. We passed it down to all the Grandkids and still have it. It’s been around for 38 years. Still going. So it’s a great baby gift.This is just such a fun toy for littles. They can blow out or breath in and when they figure it out, it’s just GOLDEN. They get so excited. The sound isn’t obnoxious either.Only rating this one 4, because it kind of has a weird taste to it after blowing into it. Baby has not learned to use it yet at 11 months, but expect him to like it more once he figures out the sound part to it.Really great design and quality.Update: now 18 months old Tommy Toot is a hoot - the small boy love it!We chose this because we know the quality of the Ambi toys that we had for our child who is now parent to our grandson. We were not disappointed when the well made Tommy Toot kazoo arrived. The small boy is currently scared of the noise but no doubt he’ll grow into it and scare us!Lovely little toy, makes a noise but not annoying and shrill like a whistle. Really cool design, good valueReally lovely little toy. Something different. My little boy will love it am sure!Great fun and really good quality.Our 1 year old Grandson loved this.
