Our puppy loves this toy. It is good for teething and tooth cleaning and he loves the way it bounces inconsistently. He loved the rope tail, but it isn't made of durable material and had electrical tape holding the rope together from unraveling. He managed to chew that off instantly, CUZ IT'S ELECTRICAL TAPE!Other than the poorly thought out rope tail design, it's a great distraction and everything else holds up well. The tail was a great detail and our pup's favorite part, but it just needs to be made more durable and sealed off with something safe for dogs, aka NOT electrical tape.perfect for teething puppy. we cut off the rope tail which can be easily shredded and eaten. My one year old Shiz tsu loved this toy. It quickly became his favorite. But, in a few short weeks, the turtles feet were almost gone and I had little bits of plastic everywhere.Puppy love has been cut short due to safety concerns. This, Mr Turtle now lives in the garbage. Conclusion: Toy is a little pricey to only last a couple of weeks. It is not safe for AGGRESSIVE CHEWERS.First this comes with electrical tape on the braided tail (huge no). However we took it off and said maybe it will still be of use. It's lasted 2 months and the head was bit off (thankfully it wasn't swallowed). It never sectioned to anything the middle of the turtle is solid plastic it would never be able to.worth every penny, the only chew toy for my puppy that has lasted this longAt first, I was worried that this would be either too big, or too heavy for my 11 week old miniature dachshund, but she loves it! She chews on it all the time, and can carry it around with her. She uses it a lot and has not even put a dent or a scratch in it at all. I have some other teething chew toys, such as the little pea pod looking chewers, which she has taken chunks off and now can no longer have them. But this toy has been very durable and she loves to chew on it! It is definitely a favorite in her toy box. Being a puppy, she chews on everything and this toy is a great thing for her to chew on. Definitely a keeper. I would highly recommend this one.My pup loves it. She watches it to see if it will move and then starts to chew or play with it.We have a multitude of chew toys for our teething puppy and this turtle is the only one that’s held her interest for more than 5 minutes. The hard shell with flexible bumps seems to really relive her discomfort. We’ve ordered 3 more to keep around the house.
