I bought these to repair two 50ft. flexible hose connections that leaked. Could not them fixed, so I cut them off, put these connectors on with some strapping tape and duct tape on the interior of the fitting, and when I tightened them up, the leaks had stopped and I can now use the flexible hoses without leaks or sprays! Just put some kind of tape inside the outer fitting to ensure no leakage. Worked like a champ for me!
