We bought this to replace a 3 wheeled, large size special needs jogging stroller that my son grew out of. He is 15 yrs old with autism and we are an active family that does a lot of camping, walking, jogging and biking. This stroller/wheelchair/bike trailer is awesome! It is very comfortable to ride in and soooooo easy to push and turn I can easily do it with one hand while jogging. It also drives and rides beautifully on gravel and uneven trails and bike paths with the rider feeling safe and secure. There is a seatbelt and several places to hang on to. It came with the sport style (bike) tires, not the wheelchair style ones that have the push wheel attached like the pictures show. It pulls great behind my bike on all (reasonable) terrain and feels sturdy with very little drag. The canopy and weather cover are totally wind & waterproof and create a cozy safe space inside. They are also fully removable and store nicely in the huge storage bin on the back.It all comes apart quite easily for transportation or storage and folds down to just the frame itself which fits in the trunk of my car (compact sedan). All of the other pieces, except the big tires, fit into a garbage bag to take along. It takes me about 10 min to take apart or put it together now that I know what I’m doing. With this being rated for riders up to 200lbs and 6’2, I hope this will last us for a very long time. Highly recommend this PediCruiser if your able to make the following modification. *Problem: the seat is only supported underneath by three wide, adjustable Velcro straps. This gives very little support for basically anyone. This was easily resolved but cutting a piece of plywood to fit on the seat frame and attaching with heavy duty Velcro. There is now a sturdy seat base and it works great.
