My three year-old Boxer loves this ball. She’s a strong-jawed little thing and she prefers to bite into the ball to tote it rather than use the handle, so I have to stay on top of her to prevent her from puncturing it. The ball itself holds up surprisingly well under these conditions although she fairly easily tears through the outer layers that are glued on so you have to be cautious and not let them have it unsupervised. I buy them two at a time because she just adores them but once the outer layer starts coming off I have to dispose of it because of the toxic adhesive. But, her joy, however brief, is always worth it. Just don’t let your baby have it unsupervised if they’re chewers. I wish they’d make a bigger one so she couldn’t get her jaws around it.
