TLDR: Ball is easily chewed up, and launcher doesn’t really fit other same-sized Chuckit balls.Old dog is going blind but still has good jaws and loves to chase balls so I bought the blue size M Chuckit hard rubber balls, and this size M launcher set so I wouldn’t get nipped trying to pick up the ball (she’s very competitive). The launcher seems super sturdy but the ball that came with it lasted less than five minutes so I’m glad that’s not why I bought the set. However, the blue balls fit really tightly in the launcher so about a fourth of launches don’t get released and I get that heartbreaking “Why did you trick me?” look from my dog. I’ll keep the set, hopefully the launcher grip relaxes some or my arm strength improves. You know what fat guys hate doing…bending over. This makes it so you don’t have to bend over all the way to pick up the ball.As an added bonus, you’ll be able to fling balls farther than Uncle Rico with minimal effort. Your dog and your back will love it.Got to work off that young Lab energy somehow! A little hard to work out the proper release point in your throw but much easier than wearing out your arm muscles. These come in several sizes so you can order the one appropriate for you and your dog's exercise needs. The launcher works great. The ball cracked after the first throw.Saves the arm! Best ball thrower out there! My dog loves her balls so this was nice to use when I’m watching something or doing somethingEverything is fine, except the ball didn't last long and the ball lasted for few days. I would recommend replacing it with a heavy duty ball.I like this tool a lot, sometimes it’s a little hard to throw but overall works well and is very worth the price! Thank youThe lobber itself is fine but the ball that comes with it is hopeless. It literally lasted 100mtrs into the first dog walk before it split in half, meaning a 2hr dog walk with a lobber and no ball. Can you imagine how annoying that is, a 9 month old boxer looking at you constantly expecting a ball to be launched at any minute!Yes she's a boxer, and yes she does enjoy chomping down on a tennis ball, but even the bargain basement balls from discount retailers last longer than this one.Advice : arm yourself with a spare ball when you take this out for the first time. Both myself and my little boy find this difficult to use. I am not so fussed about mucky hands, so this purchase was to give the dog a good run. Unfortunately, it gives no height or length to the lob, so the ball ends up hitting the ground hard and not much further than I can throw the ball without it. The product itself is sturdy, but the handle is too short to be effective and doesn't easily release the ball once it is a bit grimy, which happens every throw in this weather. I shall be replacing it with a long handled one.The ball is a tennis ball that never lasted 2 mins and not the normal rubber Chuck it ball.Waste of money and not worth the price, I would send back but ball is in the bin!!Previous to this chucka I had a long flimsy one which didn't work very well and always got in the way! This one however is brilliant! It's compact so it is smaller then normal chuckas but in no way does this effect it's performance. It fits all normal sized tennis balls and medium sized Chuckit balls which are also brilliant. This is a great product and wouldn't be without it on our daily walks.I bought this as I thought it would throw the ball further than what I currently use. It doesn't. The ball doesn't release so barely goes 6 feet.
