My kids love sticker mosaics . Both my children have adhd, and this keeps there attention for a long time.. This Sticker mosaic didnt... the sticker format was difficult n they lost interest fast... I ended up throwing it away...Kids love stickers, and this kit is full of them! 722 to be exact! There are five different sets inside. The one I think is the funniest is the pizza! Hahahaha It’s nice that each set is individually wrapped, so you know which stickers go with which mosaic. It’s a bit like putting together a puzzle, but using stickers. I will say that if you’re off, even by just a little, then you’re still going to see the white behind. But for me, that’s kind of like coloring, and crossing the outline. It’s just part of the way it works. Overall I still like the set.Our kids did these projects with a couple of neighborhood boys who are crazy about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and they all had a blast! Something about being able to place a ton of stickers all over something is exhilarating to kids! Personally, I had to release the notion that they were going to "do these correctly" as there is a plan and specific design for the placement of the stickers. Only our older kids would have the patience for that. The younger ones just wanted to madly place stickers everywhere and I had to be ok with that. The stickers themselves are on the cheap side (as you would expect with 722 tiny stickers), but that meant there were also times when the entire sticker plus backing would fall through and the kids all needed me to use my fingernails to separate the sticker from the backing....that was a bit annoying for me, but didn't dampen their fun.If your kids are patient enough to follow the directed placement of the stickers, I am sure your "mosaics" will turn out much nicer than ours. I wasn't aiming for a keepsake or wall art with ours...just a way to keep little hands busy and they loved it!The kit includes 5 separate backgrounds, which we used as one background for each child in the sticker frenzy project and it worked perfect for the group.Kids love stickers, there's no doubt about that. This TMNT sticker set is great for some limited fun. Why limited? Because once the kids have applied the stickers, it's pretty much a done deal. If the stickers stay overnight (by our experience), then they are on the cardboard deals. These are not the old peel, stick and reapply vinyl stickers we had when I was a kid. Back then, there was a background and multiple stickers/appliqués but you could move them around all day long without worry of them sticking permanently. They were called "Peel and Play" or something like that. The best thing I can say about this set of stickers is that because there are cardboard backgrounds, the kids will hopefully put more stickers on them than they will the walls and furniture. These sheets were perfect for my daughter when she was younger. At 5, she didn't want to be bothered creating stuff where she had to think to much. It was ridiculous, but then when my neighbor's son was frustrated with crafty things, I thought about these again. We brought this over during a week of summer rainy days in order to pass some time.I find that at 4 years old, these are a group activity. And by group, I mean adult + kid. They come with some heavy cardboard "patterns". Each spot corresponds to a sticker on the enclosed sheet. I like to help peel the stickers off and let the kid go nuts with where they put them. You know, that's the creative part. If they are a tiny perfectionist, they will get a lot of satisfaction of making it look just like the diagram. Those that don't, well, it won't look great but they will have fun sticking things on.Did I mention how nice it is that each pattern is all complete in one packet? Magical! You can grab one and take to dinner, to a friend's house, or leave out for the babysitter. There are 5 scenes with 5 sticker packs. Random scenes like a pizza, or turtles in front of a skyline. Most of the huge number of stickers included are of squares or circles and are just filling in background window shapes. Still good for hand eye control and still a lot of fun, although the bigger sticker books provide the same if not more work. Each 'scene' is packed in cellophane like wrapping, and it is loud, so if you are using it for something to do in a quiet area, open them before going in there.Tons of stickers... As a parent I hate it, but the 5 yr old LOVES it! You are provided with several scenes and probably 50 to 100 stickers to paste on to complete those scenes. The little guy really enjoyed it, but I had one complaint. You are provided a sheet full of stickers for each cardboard backing. When they "punched" the stickers in some spots they punched almost all the way through to paper. So, for a 5 year old who doesn't have an adult's manual dexterity, he frequently punched a sticker straight through the paper backing and all which frustrated him greatly. He would then bring it to me and I would have to try to get the backing off for him... frustrating me greatly. Overall, a pretty fun set so I'm not penalizing too hard. If you buy I hope your little one enjoys it as much as mine did and thank you for taking the time to read my review.Fun toy for little fingers. This is a favorite of my friend's child who is suddenly into all things TMNT. There are over seven hundred pieces to use to make five different pictures. Perfect for when it's time to turn off the electronics and do something creative. Fun and simple toy, even good for use in the car or anywhere where a "quiet" toy is needed.
