We got our Sardines yesterday, and I don't know how they do it, but my cats always know when they are getting a package from Twin Critters. I barely had the box opened when it was attacked by my two handicapped kids. Twin Critters toys have been especially good for them, as my little girl Rosie has only one eye and Kelsey is missing a back leg. The sturdy build and texture of the toys I've gotten from Twin Critters seem well suited for grabbing and mauling, which is what my cat kids do best. The Sardines are perfect for carrying around and for stalking, and for stashing in lairs, as Kelsey has been doing with his paper sack all morning. He managed to get both in his sack all by himself. I love it when my cats can self entertain with their toys. The Sardines have a zipper in them so I can recharge them with KittiKrack when needed. We woke this morning to find the Sardines scattered all through the house, so I would say these are definitely winners. They are not the same wool material as our other Twin Critter's toys - they are a plush material and are softer, but they seem sturdy and able to take a lot of abuse. It was only a few minutes before Rosie had hers well mauled and totally soaked with slobber, but it dried and seems no worse for the wear. They are cute too - I don't mind seeing them stashed all through my little house. I like Twin Critters and their products. The company is concerned with making a good product for my cats, and for my customer satisfaction. Everything I've bought from them has held up to tons of wear and tear and my cats are still playing with all of it. And as a side note, they have awesome packaging design. The cats may not care, but to me it is a detail that tells me they care about their products and that they plan to stick around. Their toys aren't cheap like a lot I have bought from the big box stores over the years, but they have held up and the cats are still going strong with them. I'd say we are all well pleased!Aug 27, we've had the Sardines about a week now and my kids are just loving them. They are a great shape for the cats to carry, and though none of my animals have ever had a real fish, they seem to be trying to treat them as though they were real. My tripod Kelsey is obsessed with his. He is really drawn to the scent inside and he has become quite selfish with his new toy - no sharing. He carries it everywhere, and I have to say it really is cute. There are so many worse things to find under the couch than a smiling, colorful fish.
