I bought the dollhouse last year before Christmas, hoping to have it ready on time. But this project required hundreds of hours. The instructions are poorly written. Finally, one year later, I am adding the shingles so it will be ready for this Christmas! I am happy with the quality of the product, and its value as a traditional toy is good. But the maker should invest some time in offering more lucid instructions. Putting good instructions on the Web would be great. That way, customers could offer feedback and their own tips. Speaking to Real Good Toys staff over the phone is helpful. But the staff didn't seem to agree that if their instructions were better written, customers would be happier.
