My grandson loves playing with this toy! It's very sturdy!I really wanted to like this item; I work with special needs kids and believed this would be a great item for children with sensory, self regulation, and/or hyper-activity needs. When it came, I tried this with my 3 year old nephew. He really wasn't able to use it effectively himself. I spent about 20 minutes rocking him back and forth (on the carpet) and then when my arms were about to fall off, I took 10 minutes to teach him how to rock himself and he tried, but it was hard, and really not half as fun for him as when I did it for him. However, when I purchased this, I had some older (8-9 years) children in mind specifically and was sure they would be able to use it to help calm down when over stimulated. I never got the chance to use it with them, because as soon as I put it down on the floor of my office, I knew right away I would not be able to deal with the NOISE this thing makes on highly waxed linoleum floors! It was like gunshots. Seriously. I knew I could not let any child grow attached to that thing for fear I would be driven insane by the obnoxious sucking pops made when this thing was rocked back and forth.I gave this to the OT; she has a foam mat in her room that completely muffle the sound of the suction cups. She seemed to think that she could work on some strengthening and self regulating skills with this thing. I hope so; it is a nice concept, but the noise just didn't work for me. I haven't checked back in with her since I gave it to the OT to see how she has put it to use.I'd recommend it, if you are able to deal with the noise, or if you plan to use it on a soft surface! This product is exactly like the picture, which is good. But somehow, it wasn't until it arrived in my home that I realized how large and one-dimensional it is. It's a great concept, but it really will only do the one thing it's designed for, which is to pop on the floor and spin/bobble around. Since it was a little pricey, we decided to return it and go for a toy that had a little more versatility and a lower space profile.I've written a few reviews on products for my grandson. he's autistic and not very interested in toys or books but has finally showed interest in something! i would recommend. age range 2-3yoNo me agrado es que los niños puede machucarse los dedos.Purchased this for my nieces, age 6-11. They love it! The popping noises are kind of satisfying to listen to and the kiddos crack up laughing while tipping side to side. Simple but fun toy! They are still learning what all they can do with them but are having fun rocking and climbing them when they are turned upside down.Recommend for kidsGave to my son today as an early Christmas present & it's a huge hit!Hes 7 & has loads of room in it.Hes autistic & has sensory issues so the constant moving & rocking is a huge hit with him!& the noise of the suction caps is loud (& quite annoying) but for a happy child I can blank those outMy daughter is autistic. She loves this. Great buy for her. I have wood flooring, the suction pads on the floor is very noisy when it's being used. Other than that. Do recommend this itemI purchased this, thinking I’d save money on the original “Wobbel” board. The suction pads that make a popping noise work well and are an added bonus;BUT…the plastic that the board is made of, is slippery!? My child, and his cousins, can’t get any kind of grip on it (even when they tried with bare feet), which makes, balancing (the purpose of the board) nearly impossible. ??‍♀️The back of the suckers are rubbery (which could help with grip) but they are only in the middle section of the board. So they don’t help the child grip their feet either side of the board, to enable rocking from side to side (the main purpose of the board). ??‍♀️Bought to encourage balance and movement at times when too much sitting down was being seen. Little boy loves it and it has improved his activity level and balance.
