EasyServe their purpose as our bird can’t chew on them like he was the plastic ones. Just wish they were a little bigger.they are sturdy, well made, stainless steel, so they don't discolor, and clip onto cage bars in a jiffy. in fact, i am going to purchase a few more. i have seed cups, but when i want to add fruit and veggies to my birds diet, i won't put the food in their seed cups because they contaminate the seeds and I would probably need to discard them for fresh ones. i put the "wet" foods in one of these separate hanging cups and the seeds stay dry. cups slide right off for washing up. dishwasher takes care of them nightly. great convenience.Very disappointed in the dishes, very small and tips easy if you have a conure bird. It's not good for these kinds of birds. Very disappointed and I find the price high for the size, all though the quality is very goodI bought the 2 pack of 20 oz bowls. They are 5 inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches in height/depth. I have a Ringneck dove who often likes to flick his food around to get to his favorite seeds so I got these bigger bowls to help prevent waste. The 20 oz size is big enough & deep enough for him to move seeds around without him flicking them all over the place, but the key is filling the bowl with enough seeds until the bottom was not visible. One of the bowls came with 2 dents, but nothing major. For all I know that probably happened while in transit because it was not packed in a box, but in an envelope. Plus, it really doesn't affect the overall functionality of the bowls either. (See pics) Altogether, I'm pleased with these bowls and I'd recommend them to any other dove/bird owner! The cup itself feels thin and cheap. The cup does not fit snuggly into the holder ring and moves quite a bit side to side in the ring. I got this to put in a bird carrier but won't be able to use for this purpose due to the rattling from the cup not fitting securely in the ring. In addition the flat plates that are screwed in place to attach to the cage are not flat and flushed together. Not likely a problem if you are attaching to a cage but won't work attaching to thin plastic. Of the many different bird bowls I have, this might be the worse. Keeping because it is still usable, just not for my intended purpose. Can’t really use these for water unless you put a third of the way full because water gets everywhere. They are easily clean a bowl however they bend to a slight downward angle after using it… Doesn’t help with the water situation and also causes food to fall outThis was exactly what we needed. I use them in my puppies kennel. (very active small terrier mix, training) Puppy needs her safe place. We have other dogs who prefer the puppy food. First thing she did was eat the food, then knock it down, and tried to chew it. The size is perfect. We only use it for a short time. The other items I tried, held more water, so my pup would soak the kennel, splash and chew the container. Now there’s enough for her to drink and less mess and worry of her being drenched. When we travel I’ll zip tie them to the door. I like the hooks, because it allows me to adjust the height as she grows. To keep a healthy posture for good digestion.
