My daughter really likes this toy. It’s great quality and very entertaining she is almost 6 months old. It was kind of expensive but seems like it will be for for her for quite a while. I love that it doesn’t use batteries :)Bought this for my son when he was about 9 months old. He is now 14 months old and still loves it. He carries it around with him sometimes like a little briefcase, banging it on the floor and on the edges of tables. And there is not a dent, scratch or broken piece on it. I find this mind boggling and a little creepy.Initially, I thought this toy was too expensive but after seeing the use my son has gotten out of it and how well made it is, I would definitely buy it again. This is cute. However it is extremely small and not very challenging for any baby over a year old. I think you could use this in the car, or attached to a stroller, possibly a crib or playpen, but, invest in something bigger and more challenging for babies over a year old. It's sturdy, it's cute, it's small, it's ho-hum.I bought this for my niece who was about 1 year old at the time. I figured I'd pick up a Fisher Price one like my kids had and heck, I had when I was little! They don't make it anymore! What the heck?! You can find other manufacturers who have electronics built into "activity stations" but not the old school kind I was looking for. Then I found this one. My brother and sister in law are EXTREMELY picky about what they let their kids play with so I thoroughly researched this company. Ambi is a line of toys made by Galt. I believe that this was made in China but the company is based in the UK. Their record was very good for product safety. European safety standards are higher than those in the US and they exceed those. I felt comfortable getting this for my niece and their parents were happy too!Not near as big as expected. Pay attention to the specifications. My granddaughter is 5 months old. I picked this product because the various activities required her to learn how to manipulate a particular item and there were no annoying songs. I also like that it is portable and she'll be able to take it on car rides. She is very attracted to the colors and will engage with this toy often.A little smaller than I expected and was hoping it could attach to the crib. No matter, this is a great toy for my grand baby! She loves it! Well made and no batteries!!!Apparently a “busy box” like this was my favorite toy in the 80s, so I had to buy a similar one for my baby boy. He a absolutely loves this! He focuses for prolonged periods on all the fun activities on this portable “baby briefcase”. Love it!This is such a wonderfully retro toy and would make a unique new baby gift to young parents who probably remember having a similar toy themselves when they were small. It’s exactly the type of toy I love my daughters playing with. Really simple, colourful, and imaginative. The best thing is having no annoying voices, flashing lights or music! My toddler is just as interested in this as my baby is, she loves the suitcase design and showing her little sister how to make the bell ring and teddy appear from behind the mirror. The noises aren’t too loud so it’s a good toy to have around a sleeping baby too. It’s small and durable so can be brought out and about; I’ve attached this to the lap bar on our buggy using a loop around the handle and it’s a great old-school entertainment station for on the move!Best to remove the tight cable ties before gifting, they take some cutting free, so take care when releasing them. This is rather an ordinary small toy, the effects you get from the actions, workings, are underwhelming. Although I applaud it for being no batteries required, the noises and play facilities are only vaguely interesting to a baby. The mirror/teddy alternating face is appealing, as the push buttons button the tiny chime the bell makes when the bird is moved is just slightly exciting. The barber's pole roller is intriguing. Interaction with an adult or older child will extend the benefit of this.I feel it won't hold attention for very long, but the clean lines and carrying handle means this inoffensive plastic toy won't annoy or cause much trouble around the place!
