The material is really thin. When I looked at the picture I assumed the blanket would wrap around her but it is just a front with arms. My 8 year old understood how to knot it all by herself and likes it. Most of the time she wears it backwards like a cape or robe. Still good price for what we got. I've made knot blankets before and with material cost and the time to cut and deal with sleeves, this is still a good deal eventhough I wish it was thicker material.My daughter loved it. Great on those chilly evenings watching TV. The description is a bit misleading. I thought you would be able to put the smiley face sections together, but not so all you do is knot the arm section. Over it is OK.My crafty 8 year old niece loved this knot blanket. It was given for Christmas. It was easy enough for her to do on her own with little guidance.Ordered this for my daughter for Christmas. Went to put it together only to find out that it was missing all of the pieces that is suppose to be tied to the bottom of the blanket. It isn't worth my money to return this product. I had one upset little girl on Christmas day. I plan on purchasing another one from somewhere else for her birthday in a few months instead. I would be very careful with this seller. This was the first and LAST time I EVER order from Alex Toys again.My 11 yr. Old granddaughter loved this item! Easy....must have area to spread out to put together. Makes a warm blanket she will treasure for years.I bought 3 of these and 2 of the little girls I gave them to really loved working on this blanket. It did take quite a bit of time for them to put together but with my help they were able to completeMy daughter is only 7...she enjoyed tying this craft snuggie...but it is actually pretty small...she's just a little kid and it is to small. Not really heavy at all...it is quite thin. it's really CUTE though...Young children were able to complete this craft. Very nice value for the price. Nice product when completed. We donated this to a shelter.
