You want to wash baby toys before first use. However after washing this toy, water gets stuck inside the rings and I can’t pour it out due to the weird design… I waited a week for the water to evaporate in order to let the kids play.Soft silicone. Somewhat challenging stacking. Muted colors. I washed them with antibacterial soap and a damp cloth to avoid water going inside.First let me start with the positives of this toy. Despite not really reading the dimensions well "this basically fits in my hand" the toy is actually quite small but for babies 0-6 months I think this is perfect for their little hands to grasp easily. The colors are muted except for the mushroom head which is a bright red with while spots and a happy face on it. They squeeze really easily which is nice for teething babies.Unfortunately I feel there are more negatives than positives with this toy. At least on mine that I received the mushroom head doesn't really stack nicely on top like the rest of the rings do. If you try to push it down so it doesn't fall over so easily it's a little difficult as all the rings squish down. You literally have to put it on the top one by itself and then stack the rest under that. I did notice in some other reviews pictures that theirs didn't look like they fit either. You really can not wash these in soap and water which is upsetting since little one will probably have these in their mouth a lot. All the pieces have a hole in the bottom and the water does not drain out well even after leaving out for two days to dry. This will cause mold to grow in them which I don't need my baby putting in their mouth. Someone else suggested gluing the bottom holes, but if you do this then the rings won't "squish" making it not as easy to use as a teether toy. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of thought that when into making this washable seeing as how the age range it is geared towards puts everything in their mouths so easy cleaning would be a priority.Interesting Montessori toy for little ones and first education. I like the idea of colors and for teaching hand-eye coordination!Something odd must’ve happened when they were packing this toy. Two of the stacking pieces were just sitting in the bag along with the box that was totally sealed shut. When I open the box, it was those two pieces. Maybe someone couldn’t get all of the pieces to fit when they were packing the box? It made me a little leery of using this toy. I like the soft muted colors and the tactile raised numbers and designs on the side, unfortunately the bright mushroom head doesn’t fit well on the top. They don't squeak, they trap water inside if you soak in a water bath, and many of the pieces don't lock together. Some do lock together, but others just lightly nest and come apart easily. So, if you're fine with these being noiseless, and having to wipe them down, the price isn't too bad... but I certainly wouldn't get them again.Out son does enjoy playing with them, and they don't have a bad odor. Unfortunately, with the moisture trapping issue, these will have a limited lifespan in our household. There's just no point to having an open hole if it doesn't squeak as intended. The overall height is just over 7.5 inches when stacked. Made in China.Current price $14.99.Nice stackable toy made out of silicone - perfect for stacking and/or teething. The shapes are easy for your little one to hold. Unique design that makes it look like a mushroom man. The colors are soft and muted but the face and head are bright. I really like this set but you need to watch out for water settling inside the rings. There is a hole in the middle of each section. If water gets into the sections it will be difficult to get it out and there is a good chance the toy could get moldy. But all in all - cute! Just make sure you drain property if used in the bath. 4 Stars! Hope you find this review and pictures helpful! My 2 year old little one loved her brothers new toy! Not just for babies! This Montessori stacking toy is great for babies to use as teethers and toddlers to develop their motor skills. The sizes are small enough for my baby to grab and stack; he loves the mushroom on the top. The only down side is you can’t wash with water which will cause mold inside since can’t get the water out with the little hole. Only able to wipe these rings and keep them as clean as possible.
