OK, so my baby absolutely adores this toy. It started when she was about 2 months old. I think it's an easy to grab, very soft toy, that is great for early hand coordination. The cute little happy face on the caterpillar also seems to be very comforting, my baby will smile back at it.BUT, here is my concern: Now that my child is older, she's starting to jam everything into her mouth. The little antennas on the caterpillars head are super adorable, but fairly long, and the little felt flowers look like they have the ability to flatten and fall off if soaked with enough saliva. I've already witnessed my child stuff them into her mouth and make a subtle choking noise. Obviously, I only let her have this toy under strict supervision. If she continues to want this toy as her chewing increases, I will probably swap it out for a caterpillar stye toy with less prominent antennas and feet.My daughter loves it! Great sensory toy with many colors textures and sounds! Very soft. The sound button in the head feels a little cheap(ish). It’s kind of a weird button. It’s loud enough for baby even if she can’t press the button herself. But overall happy with it?My 8 month old has loved this toy from the moment he got it. Whenever he sees the caterpillar he smiles. It's his favorite toy!My 7 month old granddaughter loves this toy! Best find on Amazon!!This is really a cute toy. It was designed very thoughtfully with little details that take it up a notch from most caterpillar sensory type toys.Product has everything described just make it look way bigger then it is and if I would have known it was going to be that small I wouldn't have bought it.My 5 month old seems to enjoy squeezing and playing to make the crinkle noise but know this is really just a stuffed animal. Saying it's a musical toy is a bit of a stretch. We'll see how it holds up I guess.Song that it plays sounds creepy as hell ? but my 6 month old loves it.
