Annie is on her 5th chicken. That doesn't mean that they are not durable. It holds up to some pretty rough treatment. It is the only thing she will play with.My dog LOVES these, and they seem to last longer (in terms of how long it takes my dog to get inside the toy and remove the squeaker) than other brands.This is an AMAZING chicken. It has all the qualities my dog and I look for. The body is soft, it includes a solid squeak mechanism, and it seems to have a good medium-sized-dog mouthfeel. My pitbull loves to play ball, but my long work hours often have me at home after nightfall. This chicken solved ALL the problems I had with your standard glow-in-the-dark/light-up ball. There is a flashing light that lives in a ball inside the chicken's head. When the chicken experiences head trauma, it begins flashing and then stops after a bit. This seems to conserve power.The chicken's comically long body offers plenty of places to pick it up from, allowing the tosser to navigate dog spit with ease. This isn't usually an option with other toys due to their super-smooth surfaces. Of course, it does get gross after a bit, but that feature is shared with other soft body dog toys with light coloring. I tossed mine in the wash with the dog's laundry, added some disinfectant, and the chicken came out right as rain.My pitbull is tender-hearted and doesn't really destroy toys. After a solid thrash about and a bunch of head trauma, dog and chicken alike usually retire for the evening. Dang thing lasts about three to five months. I got my friend's dog one of these chickens for the holidays. The Amazon seller experience was agreeable, with the package arriving on time and undamaged for both my orders.This is my dog's favorite toy - so much so that I had to buy a second one. He's a Staffy and hard on toys, so this is his "lovey" he sleeps with. The face got squished, but he still chews on it until he falls asleep. Pretty adorable. It is a cute toy that lights up too.This is the only company I buy toys from b/c they last. Both my little dog and big dog love this toy and neither can bite through. It does not rip or tear.Love this dog toy. My boxers demolishes dog toys from Walmart or any other store. This toy survived him. Will definitely buy again!Nice product. That one - same brand, but bought in a store, lasted through my Black Lab/Pit and is still hanging in there with my German Corso.The blue guy bought here...died within the first 10 minutes. Not happy due to the cost. Was hoping it would have the longevity of the original.My dog loves this bloody toy. Its squeaks! It lights up! The squeaker has a nice plastic bit that he loves to chew on through the fabric. Its not the most durable for determined dogs but I am so glad I found somewhere to buy it. The joy it brings him is great and when he rips it open he gets a light up ball at the end!Sent one back with no nose light the second one came with the same issue should get the product half priced if defective.It’s our dog’s most favorite toy. She’s rather gentle with it and is not into shredding toys into pieces in general.Everyday pulling and throwing didn’t destroy this toy for over a year. We got a new one only because the previous one was a little bit ‘worn off’ from all the washing.Le nouveau jouet préféré de notre cocker de 18 mois. Il l'adore.
