I refused to gift these choking hazards to my Grandchildren or my preschoolers at work. They're just the right size to choke a child and are breakable.I bought this for my 2 year old son believing that maybe it would last a few days before some component broke. Not so. He plays with it all the time, and it has held up well. Sure, it will lose tune before a day has passed (I don’t bother tuning it any longer), but if you want an instrument that holds tune, you should be looking at a more expensive model. Would definitely buy again. It was a gift fro my oldest, she is five. She liked, as it was good size for her. I only gave it 4 stars because it came with large scratch on the facing, not noticable for a kid, but one that drives me insane looking at it.This is a great simple ukulele for a kid, but it doesn’t hold a tune, so you are constantly having to mess with it in between playingIt’s really only for very small children, not for a child really wanting to play guitar. It’s great as a toy.I purchased this Ukelele for my great grandson who is 4 years old and he is enjoying playing it, his mom tuned it for him and loves it. I would purchase this item again. This was sent to our great grandchild. He is three years old. He just was given a baby brother, so this was something for him to enjoy. It is nicer than I would have imagined. He will have many years of enjoyment and then can pass it on to his brotherWe bought this for our grandson for Christmas and he just loved it. Came packaged really nicely and seems to be good quality. Very happy with this item
