I like this figure even withstanding all of it's flaws. It represents the best Captain America movie and hero origin story. For me, I collect movie figures to remind me of a great movie. The First Avenger is one them. The design of the outfit is still the best looking of all the movies with Capt. Having said this, articulation is limited because of the thickness of the outfit's material around the shoulders. In reality the material for 1/6 scaled down size would be thin enough for great articulation but would tear in collector's hands, so I don't fault Hot Toys for using thick fabric instead of thin to have durability. I still prefer cloth over rubber any day since it will last and not split (Golden age version has rubber shoulders). Moving on, the plastic shield over time will begin flaking paint usually on the edge of the shield if not clear coated again, Hot Toys made a mistake by electroplating plastic which is very unstable due to temperature changes causing expansion and contraction. I replaced it with a die-cast shield I purchased online from a loose parts website. It comes with good amount of accessories including a Thompson machine gun and pistol with leg holster. Overall. it's movie accurate and more durable than the Golden Age version.Ever since I saw the figure I knew I had to have it. Once I got it and played around with it, I knew it was the right choice.The only SLIGHT downsides to him are that he's not the best as being poseable. I'm afraid to push his limbs too far in the chance that they might break or rip the fabric. Also, the changeable hands are a little bit tricky to put new ones on.I saw slight because they really do not detract from the figure as a whole.I love this figure and would definitely recommend to anyone :)The level of detail on this figure is incredible. The sculpt is great and very life like. The uniform and accessories are very well done and match the attention to detail on the Hot Toys line of previous figures. The range of motion of the figure isn't quite what the pictures show, especially the arms as his uniform's shoulders really do not let them raise up very well.Had a slight problem in replacing his left hand so I could have him holding his shield. The ball joint that attaches to his wrist broke off but these come with spares so you can easily replace any of the joints should they be damaged.All in all, a great looking Captain America and the centerpiece of my collection.He is great he could be a little cheeped but any Hot Toy is high dollarThis Captain America figure is one outstanding piece of artwork. The attention to detail is amazing. It would have been nice to have an unmasked sculpt of Chris Evans' head, but I guess they reserved that for the the Avengers movie version.The suit fits really well and is made from real cloth. Upon reading one of the reviews, it all depends on who you buy it from. Shop around and you will find the correct price point for this figure.Don't miss out on this, it's a great one.If you read the product description, this appears to be some kind of limited edition collectible. It is not. The quality is good and the product is exactly as picture, no issues there. It is a reproduction, not a limited edition original. As such, this is DRAMATICALLY over priced.Buyer beware.I was told that the product I ordered (Captain America: The First Avenger Hot Toy) was brand new, in the box. When the product arrived the box was dented, the figurine stand was broken, and the shield was scratched and had a significant amount of paint chipping away from the edges. It was obvious this product was not brand new but rather used. I was very disappointed in my purchase.If you are a collector of really great Action Figures you should acquired those items from Hot Toys, you'll never regret it.Good but not quite iron man mk 42 .Tight suit does restrict movement so posing presents some issues .when you get it into a suitable pose , leave it alone .can't raise the arm above shoulder height but it's incedentals , pose it leave it to look awesome and you'll be quite happy.In addition, the sheild paint is flaking off after a couple of years of being sat there not being touched , that's disappointing, but others are available after market but still , annoying.... so wie bei anderen Figuren der selben Preisklasse, ansonsten heißt es aufpassen mit dem Schild, sehr dünn und wahrscheinlich sehr zerbrechlich und an der Oberfläche nicht kratzen, es wäre schade um das schöne Ding ohne das die Figur nicht mehr Captain America wäre ....Il pacco è arrivato in meno di una settimana e in perfette condizioni...considerando le bassissime spese di spedizione e che arrivava dalla Cina è ottimo!!!Action Figure in perfetto stato e completa di tutto...ora Thor potrà testare il suo martello sullo scudo di Cap!!È arrivato molto prima del previsto, con un imballo perfetto e a prova di urro. unica pecca è che le parti della cintura o delle fibbie non sono incollate benissimo, si scollano facilmente. molto molto delicato.Entièrement satisfait de la qualité de cette figurine que je recommande à tous les fans de marvel et surtout de captain america
