I'm a fan and collector of many dumb things. No, the Muppets are not dumb, but to have such highly designed and articulated figures for the Muppets might be a little dumb. That said, my love for Statler and Waldorf meant I've been looking to buy one of these since I saw one. However, I could only find them for $75 or more for a long time. Once I saw a sale that dropped the price to $35, I couldn't pull the trigger fast enough. And I'm glad I did. These figures are great. The joints on mine were a little stiff out of the box, but once displayed I'll never move them again. the one minor issue is that when seated, they're a little too far back from the balcony, but that's such a minor flaw in otherwise perfect figures.I love, love, love these guys. I've been wanting to get something like this forever and as soon as I saw this set I had to buy it. In fact I bought two. I bought one to display and another to keep in its box. Part of me didn't want to take them out of the box and as soon as you do you can't go back. You literally have to tear the box to shreds to get the characters out. The balcony is hard plastic and well made with very nice details. Statler and Waldorf were well detailed too. My only issue was after taking them out of the package. It was difficult to bend them into a sitting position. It took a lot of strength and silent prayers that they wouldn't break when I pushed them into their siting positions. Honestly, it felt as if their legs would snap before they finally bent the way that they were supposed to. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this set to anyone who loves the Muppets.These figurines are great. I’ve ordered many others form the same set and have always been satisfied. The joints, the quality, the general appearance are all high quality. I can’t give it full marks though because Statler’s hair is almost jet black rather than the gray, as seen both on the original character and the advertised images of the figurines themselves. That’s a bit disappointing...In order to hang it on the wall you will need to glue the balcony pieces together and put two nails in the wall to hang by the back of the roof. The back is concave and irregularly shaped so they isnt anywhere to glue a bracket. If not for this, it would be perfect.Such great memorabilia to have. I grew up with the muppets and turning 40 made me realize I was turning into Statler and Waldorf by the day. They make a perfect piece to watch over what I am watching. They are wonderfully made and worth every cent.It’s really not worth the money but these guys kill me so i had to have it.If they were animated I’d pay 5 times as much. Made it so I could hang it on the wall so there looking down on you like there supposed too,put in the poker room, love it.I work at Disney, so everyone has some toy at their desk, depending what your fav character was while growing up. Mine were the Muppets and these two oldies were the shining stars of the show. When I found out that Disney acquired the Muppets, I was thrilled to learn that now I can claim these guys as my desk mascots. Aside from that, the toys are really well made and I'm impressed how, regardless of their size, you can move and bend their arms and legs with no problem. Happy with the purchase!This sits up on the fireplace mantle and overlooks my gaming table downstairs. I like to find those things that unfortunately show my age but are funny as **** to display in my gaming area. This is probably in the Top Ten. And maybe somewhere in the middle of that list. If you're reading this review, you know you want to buy it. Just do it. It's great. Yes, it's a total waste of money. But so is that coffee you buy every morning to get you going.
