My puppy is just a little of a year and he likes it. He has torn some of it. Not like he has done with some of his other toys.My dog loved her new toy to the point that she teared apart the pocket where the treats go! I ended up tying the ripped part and she still loves the toy! Obviously this toy isn’t for an aggressive chewer, but I love the hiding treats functionality of it! My dog loves playing tug a war with it and fetch :)There's a TINY bit of crinkle in the very tip of the snail's tail. I bought this specifically because it was described as a crinkle toy that hides treats. It does hide treats, but doesn't crinkle. Returning it.It took a few tries to get the dog interested but once we did, he loves it. He has chewed holes in it in odd places but he still loves it. He likes the water bottle in it more than the hidden treats. The treats fall out and distracts him from playing lolMy puppy first got this toy as a gift. She loved it so much, that after a short time , it was torn in many places. I then purchased this as a replacement. For me, it was a great way to get my puppy to eat kibbles at a time when she was being a picky eater. There are 4 pockets to put treats in. I added some of her kibbles instead of treats. Once the pockets are full, you roll the toy up so that it resembles a rose and stem. Unfortunately, my puppy learned how to unroll the rose and eat the treats (kibbles) very fast, so it did not keep her occupied for very long. As much as she loved the toy, it wasn't very durable. The toy was destroyed rather quickly. It is unfortunate that it didn't last longer, because it is a rather cute way to give her treats. Will not however, replace it another time. In fairness, some puppies may not be as rough with the toy and it will last for longer.I bought one of these last year and LOVED it. My dog(pug) stayed busy trying to get little milk bones out of it. He learned pretty quick though and it didn’t keep him busy for as long as originally. I lost the snail when my roommate moved in and ordered two more this year when I realized it was missing. But this time I thought about it and decided to put little flat square treats and pepperonis in the disc shaped pockets. This keeps him entertained for a VERY long time. I’ve tried busy bones, real cow bones, and various “long lasting” chews. I’ve tried the slow dispensing toys. Nothing compares to this when you use the right shaped treat in the pockets. There’s peace and quiet at my house while I have my moms dog here too. They’re both entertained and occupied. Milk bones are bulky and easy for him to get out. Go for slim treats! I am so happy with these dog toys. Also he paws at them constantly and they have held up!my 12.5 pound dog loves this. gives her activity while in crate. i use treats about the size of half a cheerio.PLEASE NOTE: if you have a long haired dog in show coat or a pet dog or service dog with furnishings or long hair on ears and head, be cautious of the hook and loop. my service dog handles these toys very well delighting in a whole pile of toys in her crate but my previous esa would not have done well because of how i had the dit dogs clipped.my current shih tzu pom mis wants her crate stuffed full with these types toys contsining her breakfast if i have to go out early. i return to a happily full and tired sleeping dog an hour or so later. i started this when i noticed she always piled all her bedding into a mountain and slept on it. hint: go for the better quality little more expensive toys if you are going to use these interactive toys in this manner. She loves this toy! She works hard at getting the treats! Our puppy loves his “sally snail”. Although I would not recommend this toy as a “slow feeder” because after only 1 use with kibble he ripped the food compartment area on all three sections. The food area gets very wet with chewing and doesn’t easily dry. However, he loves the toy in general. It’s fun as a tug toy, pillow, or fetch toy. It's so Cute and my dog just loves it.?????❤️❤️
