It didn't come with any instructions so it took me a few minutes to figure out that a needle attachment is required for the pump that comes with the football. It then took me a little bit longer to discover that there is a snap lid on the side of the pump handle where I was relieved to find said needle attachment. Once I got past that fiasco it was pretty easy to inflate and at the end of the pool party it was easy to deflate. Definitely recommend this for any pool / outdoor Play Time for kids.
