Dan Dunn is a spirit & wine writer who has notes of the great Gonzos writing. If you’re a fan of Dan or just fun stories and great cocktail recipes this book is sure to satisfy. One of the most entertaining books on the market. Honest, raw and hilarious accounts of Dunn's boozy travels and less-than-mediocre encounters make this page-turner a fun, easy read. Tales of partying with porn stars, touring the world and hanging with name-droppable big wigs keep the reader entertained, but heartfelt insight into Dunn's life beyond the glitz, glam and party lifestyle make this a must-read. Living Loaded chronicles Dunn's work as a booze writer, where he so generously lets the rest of the world in on all the fun (and painstaking hangovers) he's endured over the years.Sprinkle in some fantastic original cocktail recipes from renowned bartenders paired with each chapter, and you've got a bonus reference for when you're entertaining thirsty guests or just want to mix things up when you're home alone and bored. Great for anyone who enjoys an adult beverage now and then, or for anyone who's looking to live vicariously through someone who knows how to do it well. And Dan Dunn does. This is a good read. Quick and easy. It's kinda like reading a long version of an "Always Sunny in Philly" script. If you want to read about a guy traveling all over and getting wasted while chasing tail, this book is for you. It's probably along the lines of "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell".I'll be passing the book along to my fellow drinking buddies. This book is pure genius! It's a great stack of various drunken stories, great drink recipes at the beginning of each chapter, and little tidbits of advice on things everyone who drinks should probably know. Dan is funny, genuine and number 1 on my list of people I want to party with. I will have to purchase a bunch more copies of this book to hand out to people. Basically if you are a booze enthusiast or just someone who enjoys laughing out loud while reading.. this is the book for you!Great quick read for a vacation. Note that Dan Dunn is a self-described "booze scribe" and if you're in the right frame of mind, this is a solid read.Dan Dunn: one of the funniest degenerates writing today. The feminist in me finds Dunn slightly repulsive at times. But at the heart if it, he's plain hysterical.Drinking, parties, girls, and basically living the life every guy dreams of. This is a great book and includes some fantastic drink recipes at each chapter. Heard Dan Dunn on the Adam Carolla podcast and knew that I should buy this book. You should too.
