We've had other Alex magnetic toys for the bath & were very happy with them. They were fun for my kids to play with in the tub, and the magnets stuck them together well, they were stronger than the other magnetic toys we had. But they didn't last as long. I squeeze all the water out after bath time & tried to clean them regularly, but I'm a busy mom & can't always clean as recommended, and so they developed mold in them faster than any other toy we've ever had, within weeks! So I wouldn't buy these again. I'd only recommend if you have time to clean inside as recommended.I thought these would be great for my little boys during their bath. These toys fill with water and flip over and the magnets don't even attract to each other. The magnets will only attract to each other in one order -- you can't switch the position of the monsters. I bought the magnetic boats too and they're just as bad. Those magnets don't attract to each other or to the monsters. Worst magnets ever!! My boys won't even play with them! What a waste of money!I expected these toys to stick together like a train and float across the water. They do not do this! The monsters tip right over when put in water which doesn't allow the magnets to hold. My son did like these to play with but not for the intended purpose. I would not recommend these especially for the price!~ Mold alert ~The magnets are very weak and they won't stay together. They don't float upright with or without water in them. Mold accumulates inside and comes out when squirted. All in all they were a disappointment to my grand son and he didn't play with them they just floated in the tub. That is untill I squirted one and little bits of mold came out. Into the trash they went.Cute toys but barely stay connected... magnet it very weak... and don't stay afloat upright. They flip right over in the tub.the magnets aren't strong enough to stay together and the paint is peeling off one. I had to throw it out.They don't float upright and the magnets don't workMy son loves these!Magnets worked okay. Top coat cracks as soon as you squeeze the monster (might be dangerous if pieces are swallowed). There's a whole on each monster's mouth, water can seep in (possibility of fungus). Those are not supposed to be squirters.
