This toy is really long - 22 inches. I bought this for my mini Australian Shepherd puppy and he loves it. The toy has squeakers in the paws only and is a super fun interactive dog toy for a dog that likes to play but won't (or can't) chew a toy to smithereens.I also have a German Shepherd and from past experience this is not something she would be given as she would chew it to shreds in minutes due to the fact that the arms are just asking to be pulled/chewed off as are the ears. If you have a dog that is large and a 'chewer' you may have learned the hard (or expensive) way like I have the complete and utter carnage that comes of stuffed toys in their wake. We have said goodbye to many a stuffed or plush toy in the two years since we got our girl.This is a 3.5 star toy, it is really nothing special and it is all dependent upon your dog. Do they like plush toys with squeakers and will they allow these toys to coexist peacefully in your home? Then perhaps this is the toy for you!!
