First, my daughter loves her cape(s), so stars for that. The cape is lovely, soft to the touch as silk is, comfy to wear, and light. However, within the first month or so, the button closure broke, and I re-sewed and replaced it with my own button- which has lasted thus far. The cape itself is not suitable for kids' outdoor play, as it will definitely rip. My daughter's is now covered with various mending sticky patches.I also have 2 other capes from Sarah's Silks (same style, different colors), which I bought from their own website. Both capes' buttons also broke within a very short time. Both of these capes are now sitting on the side as I haven't had the time nor the will to mend them (am NOT crafty at all). Contacted Sarah's Silks customer service (since it's past return date), and they said that they will inform QC to improve future products, and gave me a $10 discount voucher - which probably only counts for free shipping for future purchases.Am currently looking for other good quality kids' capes options, as I really don't want to spend time mending buttons after paying premium prices for these capes.
