I've had my dog for 6 years and must have spent thousands of dollars on toys and treats at this point. He is the definition of a super-chewer; boredom is his kryptonite and it can only be assuaged by chewing something or tearing apart his toys. So over the years I tried everything: Kongs, Nylabones, Bark Box's Super Chewer toys, antlers, rawhides, Himalayan Dog chews, and more. Sometimes he likes them and they don't get destroyed right away, but eventually he looses interest and won't play anymore. With others they meet their maker in under 10 minutes flat, despite claims of being hard/durable/nearly indestructible (my favorite was a $20 Himalayan Cheese Dog chew that claimed to give hours of chewing time that he chewed apart and consumed in 5 minutes...I timed him). Then comes along this toy with its unassuming shape, lovely color, and soft rubber. I didn't think it would last. Lo and behold this is the only toy that he has not destroyed or lost interest in ever! At this point, we've been using his Snoop since March 2022 and nearly 6 months later it is out go to toy to wear him out. He loves it! Sometimes he'll spend upwards of 20-30 minutes occupied with it, which is a huge deal for him!10/10 recommend it for high energy dogs who like active play and chewing things. At first my 4.5 month old puppy, flipped it upside down and a treat fell out. Then he did it again and another one fell out. Pretty disappointingly easy. Then he did it a few more times and nothing came out. So, he picked it up and ran around the room a couple times. Laid down and chewed on it. Then ran around the room. Laid down and chewed at it.Looked at me. Looked tired.Ran around the room a couple times with it. Laid down and chewed at it.It's been fifteen minutes and he's still doing this. I can hear his labored breathing and how tired he seems to be getting. 5/5 would recommend.Tomorrow his morning cup of food goes in it.I had tried other feeding tools for my dog. He eats his food way too fast. Probably a fall-out of being a rescue and not getting enough food. The other feeders were ok but frustrated him, which was not a positive experience. They also did not help with eating slower and fun. Plant Dog Snoops has truly changed this and he loves it. It is fun and stimulates his brain, it could be easier fun or add the ball to add more challenge, and he is now eating slower, enjoying rolling it around, and figuring out how to get the ball out. It is resilient, easy to wash and use again, and is a must have!I bought a lil version for my puppy so I could get some things done around the house without her crying. She was obsessed immediately and to my surprise, my older dogs also fell in love with it and constantly tried to take it, even without treats in it. They have a plethora of treat toys but this is the only one I have seen all three of my dogs lose their minds over. It is their favorite part of the day. I have one very aggressive destroyer (she is well beyond "chewer") and she hasnt even been able to make a hole in any of them. Despite her best efforts. Great toy all around and I'm definitely going to make sure I always have at least one per dog.The toy is fairly easy for dogs to get the treats out of it but because it is bounces in different directions, pups seem to love it as a toy. I put a few treats and leave it out for them to play which works our great. Also, there is an attachment you can buy to make it harder for snacks to come out which i will purchase later on to make it more entertaining for my pup. Overall the toy seems very durable and will last a while.I got this for my dog as a toy, originally, after seeing people recommend it on Tiktok. However, my dog now REFUSES to eat his meals out of anything other than this bowl. He brings it to me when he is hungry. Sits it on my lap, or runs around the table with it out of excitement for food. He dumps his kibble from the bowl onto the ground and THEN eats it. It’s all a game. Shoves his snout into the bowl to get the last bits. I got rid of his stainless steel food bowl because I purchased this and it’s no longer necessary because he will NOT take food out of anything else. It’s not a toy, it’s a meal bowl. I guess it’s good for enrichment and we get laughs out of it because he LOVES this bowl. I’d recommend. As a food bowl. Or toy. Whatever your dog wants, I guess. That’s how it usually goes anyways. Oh, and we have had it for months and it looks new other than food remnants because…yanno. Not fun to clean, though. My dog is the type to solve things by sheer will when possible, so when I initially filled this with little treats and hoped she would push/throw it around to get the treats to fall out, I was sorely disappointed. She just sat down and stuck her tongue (not an unusally long tongue either) in the toy and scooped out the treats that way. After reading reviews and trying to figure out how to make this more of a puzzle toy, I bought a mini size "JW Holee roller", which fits inside this and acts as a kind of large mesh barrier to prevent tongue scooping and slow the flow of treats. I'm pretty happy with this workaround, as I had read the "nooks" that are made to go along with these toys don't stay in very well, so I'm sure my dog would have knocked that out and then just went to town on the treats. This is my send time purchasing this great toy. I really like it because it keep my dog entertained for over 30 minutes. However, when I ordered it again it arrived damaged and I don’t feel comfortable having my dog play with something that is damaged. Great toy just review it before giving it to your pup.I rarely leave reviews but I had to! High energy, low attention span 7 month old springer…gave her the toy with a small mix of treats and her own kibble in. She was so focused on the toy she barely fussed for husband getting home, kept her focused for 5 top ups (just small amounts of her normal dry food after first batch) for OVER AN HOUR!!!! Springer parents you NEED this toy lol! She had her 5th & final top up, got halfway through it, flopped out on her side and snored, woke up 10 minutes later & moved to her bed but got back up to bring her Orbee in for a cuddle and is still there 45 minutes later <3 I’m not convinced she couldn’t eat the plastic as she’s a heavy chewer but it won’t be an every day toy, nor unsupervised. Worth every penny and is going to be amazing for those work calls! This is a very durable item, as my dog is pretty tough on most toys - anything other than the Kong brand has been distroyed. This is great as I pop a copule of treats in, and it keeps him busy for some time. The treats need to be a devent size or it is too easy to get to them! As if small, he just tosses it in the air and they fall out - clever. If bigger, he has to work at getting them out. Best to open it up, then pop the larger treats in and close it. Then let you scrabble happen! My dog is a Border Terrier and this size is good for him. It is also washable. My doggo loved this dispensing toy. It's easy to lift & carry about the house, this size good for a Whippet, but a slightly smaller dog will need the smaller size I'd think.Warning....don't try washing it in the dishwasher as I stupidly did & ruined its rotund appearance etc .We have a patterdale/jack russell cross and thought this would "engage his brain" but after 30 minutes he had chewed through the toy so he could get to the treats - it would seem in his head it was easier to tear the ball apart rather than work out how to get the food - not very good and don't buy this if your dog likes chewing to find treatsBought this back in March and aside from maybe kong toys it is maybe the longest lasting toy my destructive beagle has!Versatile, durable and has kept her interested far longer than £18 worth of treats would! It is sticky at first but after some uses and cleans it's now fine. We have the orange one and after heavy use both inside and outside the only damage is a couple teeth marks! We use it to put her breakfast in, larger pieces of cucumber mixed with long thin treats that are hard to get out and can even fit a pig ear in which is her new favourite.Would recommend for any high energy dog owner!
