This sensory box came just in time for my 10 month old! He just started pulling wipes out of the package and pulling down books and clothes! This box allows him to make a mess that’s easy to pick up! He loves the crinkle paper and that alone keeps him occupied for quite some time! It also come with bonus teethers! We love it!My Daughter lovessss the crinkle paper and teething toy!!!Did not likeMy 7 month old loves the crinkly pages the most! She’s still learning to pull them out of the box since she’s having too much fun eating it. Definitely a must have for your baby or for a gift. This toy has quickly become a favorite in my home. It has been fun for my little one to pull the color tissue and see all the fun colors. Baby has also used the box to see if other toys fit in the box. I have not washed it yet, but it looks like it will wash well.I love this bright toy and, recalling how my kids used to adore anything that made noise, I am sure toddlers will also enjoy this greatly! It appears well-made and sturdy and as described, the bottom is a little bit weighted. I also get great pleasure, in looking at this item, and thinking of a classic episode from the Ramona (the Pest) series--the one where Ramona gives Will Jean a box of tissues as a gift and that toddler goes to town, flinging tissues everywhere. Whoever thought of this toy may have read that book (perhaps!?).Anyway, my only concern, as mentioned in another review, is that in addition to the crinkly "tissues" there are some gossamer-thin ones. They are lovely colored, filmy and delicate. However, I could see a toddler stuffing one (or more) in their mouth & perhaps choking. So I would keep that part of the toy to the side until the child is a bit older, or use it only under careful supervision. My almost 8 month old loves playing with this, but all the scarves and crinkly pieces go straight in her mouth. The scarves are very thin and could very easily be a choking hazard if not played with under adult supervision. She really likes it though, bright colors fun noises. It comes with a rattle set that's too young for her now, but nice, and a nice mesh laundry bag I'll use for cleaning other toys too.Sensory experiences like this are so good for baby brain development. There are other expensive brands that have very similar items like this made of wood with silk scarves. However, this is significantly more affordable and does the same basic function in terms of helping your baby's brain grow. Mine came with some teethers (see picture) as well. Not sure if it was supposed to or if it just got thrown in the box, but they were fun to also add to things for my baby to grab out of the container so win-win I guess. My baby absolutely loves this toy. It's soft enough I feel comfortable letting him have it in the car. Even if it did become a projectile in a crash it is very soft, which makes me feel better. He enjoys the crinkle paper and pulls it out one at a time time. I like how bright and colorful it is. It's completely functional. I washed the scarves before I use them the first time and nothing was damaged in the wash. I like how it came with a mesh bag to wash things. When we play with it together I can comment on the colors, the sound of the crinkle paper, etc. It's really a great way to engage with your baby.
