Even my shyer cat got right into hunting this toy, and he generally doesn't do much other than swat at toys a little. Really great item, although I thought it would be a softer pompom type of body. It's a firm plastic instead. It's a teaser toy, so not designed to be chewed, but that didn't stop my boys from really digging in. Fell apart after a couple play sessions, and I would definitely buy more if it were more durable.
