I bought these markers to use as part of an activity for a friends baby shower I was hosting. I got some blank white onesies and had the guests use these markers to create custom onesies for the new little one. It was a fun craft but the markers tend to bleed a lot so the results looked... not so great. I can't imagine my friend ever really had her child wear those onesies except maybe on strictly at home days. They were not cute. The images were all blurred and fuzzy. I never personally saw the baby wear any of them. It is possible they might work better on a woven fabric versus the knit that onesies are made of but I ended up letting the new mom keep them so I never got a chance to test it out. I wouldn't buy these markers again unless I knew for sure they would work better on the type of fabric I wanted to use them on.I haven't used it much, but I must say that the colors are pretty good. My 4-yrs-old daughter had a bit of a hard time writing with them because they are not smooth. I had to stretch the fabric and hold on both sides while she colored. I guess this will happen with any other fabric marker.PS: I decided to give 4 stars because it does seem that the ink will fade after a few uses.Bought these for kids to decorate their own pillow cases at a pajama party, and they worked great. I have only washed the pillow case twice, but so far the drawings have held up. Nice inexpensive activity for kids. I also just used these at my sister's baby shower for guests to create onsies for the baby, and this project was successful as well.We just used these markers for my daughter's birthday party. 10 girls decorated t-shirts for a fashion show. The markers worked very well and the girls really enjoyed their creations. The colors are bright and the markers easy to use. I haven't washed the t-shirts yet, but expect they will hold up well.I purchased these to decorate t-shirts with a Girl Scout Troop. At the same time, I bought additional fabric markers at a craft store. While much more expensive, the craft store markers were far superior. The Alex markers didn't have the same intensity or saturation. They dried up long before the other markers. Although these were much more economical, you get what you pay for--a short shelf life.Decided to get these as opposed to the more expensive crayola ones....and they did not let me down! We used them to decorate aprons for my daughters 5th birthday (we made individual pizzas for our meal) the aprons ranged in color from a dark blue to yellow and these markers showed up well on all the aprons. There was virtually no mess as well, with girls from 4 to 13 using them we had no problems! Definitely worth the money!Barely visible. Disappointed because I took on cruise to be used on pillow case as a keepsake.Nice colors and easy to use. But they did not show up at all on black canvas. At this price, I'll give them away, rather than returning them.Something great to keep the kids entertained and not too messyToddler enjoyed it. Like the product warns, a bit hard to remove from grout. Doesn’t color as solid as I had expected but that doesn’t seem to bother our toddler. We used it even during potty training, a reason to sit in the potty and draw on the tile walls or the outside of the tub. We had them for over a year until one day they stayed wet in the tub (yes we are not perfectly parents that always get to clean up after the kids), and it became too disgusting that we threw it away.Holding up well so far. Worth the money paid because they last. Wish there were more color choices with this brand.
