My little one is now 21 months old, and I see from the purchase date that she's had them for just shy of a year. These adorable animals have really grown with her.They are very light weight and just the right size for little grasping hands. We have never had a problem with chipping paint as at least one other person mentioned, and they've been gummed and chewed plenty! We do not use them as squirters or bath toys due to the mildew issue several people have mentioned, but that does not lessen the fun! And she loves the little puff of air when you "squirt without water" them.These guys are the cutest little things, and put away very neatly in their vinyl pouch (I would never give the pouch itself to a baby - too close to plastic bag danger for my liking).Now that she is older, the quality of play has changed. She loves holding each one up so we can identify them over and over for her, as well as make the animal sound for her (although, I admit that the Hippo has me stumped).The first animal she learned was the cow, although I am pretty sure she thought it was called a "Moo".When she plays with them on her own, I am fascinated to watch her make them dance, as well as talk and sing to them. She also seems to create her own little interpersonal relationship skits with them, that are very amusing to watch.One thing I must mention, however, is that at least one parent here had a very bad experience with his/her set. I never had a similar issue - nothing even close - but I do urge you to read the 1-star reviews, so that you are fully informed before giving this to your child.Bottom line: in our personal experience, this is a great, much-used toy!My 8 month old really likes these. They’re just the right size and shape for it to be a little bit challenging (and therefore fun) for him to fish out of the water. He also seems to really enjoy looking at them - not sure if it’s the colors or the small differences between them, but they definitely engage him. He doesn’t yet care about the fact that they squirt water, but maybe eventually.I bought this after a lot of searching, both in stores and on the web. Now, this may seem a bit extreme, I mean, they're bath toys for Heaven's sake! But, there's that thing about the harmful plastics and all that, and the fact that a lot of people seem to have trouble with paint peeling off of some toys, etc. So, the reason I got these was that they're marked as having non toxic paint (so hey, if id did peel off, no big deal, right?), no phthalates and safe for kids (now, I really think that ought to be a given for any children's toy, but in light of recent events it doesn't hurt to be on the 'safe'side).So all in all, very nifty toys, baby looooves them, in fact she likes to play with them anywhere any time (had these for a few months now). The carry bag is nice, she played with that too (even though it's not a toy, but you try telling her that! We gave her the toys one at a time, for the novelty factor. Just remember to empty them out after each bath, since anything that holds in water can get all kinds of yucky.These are great colorful bath toys. My girls love them. We have had a lot of this brand and love them all but have to throw them away after a few months because no matter what we do to remove water from inside, they always get moldy. Still they are really cute.I bought these squirties for my daughter to add some more fun to her bath time. She loves the tub, and with these she loves it even more!Reading some of the reviews I see some people had paint peeling off of these, but that is not an issue that we have. My guess is that they have resolved the issue that may have caused that. The only problem we had with these, is that one of the squirties(the raccoon) didn't have the hole fully punched so we just had to cut the rest off for it to fill up and squirt properly.My daughter absolutely loves these bath toys, and even carries the penguin and hippo around just about everywhere she treks in the house. I bought these on a whim hoping she might get some fun from them, and they have proved to be more than worth the money.These bath toys are a great buy. The price has increased on this set but I feel the price we bought it for was very reasonable for a set of bath toys that I feel are safe for our 6 month old twins who put everything in their mouths. Our babies loved these toys the moment they saw them and really enjoy them in their baths. Some reviewers were concerned about mold growing inside so we just make sure to squeeze all the water out and let it dry on the bottle rack which has been working very well. I will definitely be purchasing the jungle themed set once the babies spend more time playing in the bath.Bought these rubber boats for my 2 year old nephew and he loves them for pool and bath. He is really into boats.These little dinosaurs are adorable & the colors are vibrant. We don't use the in water because I don't want mold to grow inside them (which does with all squirty type toys). I bought them for my one year old baby girl for Christmas so we've had them about four months and she literally plays with them every single day. She picks them up and says "raaaa". It's the cutest thing ever. I love that they are soft because toddlers love to throw things, and she loves that they're soft because toddlers love to chew things. So win-win. Happy baby. Happy mommy:)
