Okay. Bluey is too dark to be a really good nightlight. I'd choose Bingo if you have a toddler who's terrified of the dark. I got both and my toddlers sleep in the same room, so...win-win. It's super easy to use. Both modes have a 10-minute timer that is reset every time, for example, the flashlight becomes a night light again.Tiny button on the bottom. Pushed in by a flat surface (we have a folding storage ottoman with a lid in their room, and it's firm enough to work every time, whereas the carpet is not), it becomes a nightlight with a warm yellow hue, Bluey only lights up where she's light blue (my son, of course has decided Bluey is a boy like him, because Bluey is the older sib and his light). Pick it up, the button pops out, and you have a flashlight that works in many capacities. Reading in bed, hunting for a diaper, walking to the bathroom. Really nice LED flashlight with blue-white light. So, when night falls, tip the nightlight up so the flashlight is activated, then put it back down. Ta-da! Ten minutes of this.My 2yo daughter loves her Pegasus ("Unicorn") Cry Babies Goodnight doll. I got my son the triceratops Cry Babies Goodnight doll and it doesn't soothe him--it's wonderful and lights up even an entire modest living room ceiling, but he's usually too scared to feel secure enough to fall asleep. With Bingo, not Bluey, he's comforted by the nearby bright light. He fell asleep within three minutes last night, not the Cry Baby's usual 15/far later on his own. This bodes well.A gift for a 5 year old granddaughter who just got her own bedroom. She carried it around as a flashlight all day and fell asleep with it at night. As an outdoor flashlight, it doesn’t illuminate the path very well, especially when said granddaughter is pointing the flashlight up in the trees. Good thing she’s cute.My granddaughter loves it. I see her carrying it around with her alot. She loves itMy 6 year old loves this nightlight. She uses the flashlight feature whenever she gets up to use the restroom. It’s super cute & my kids love it! I wish it had a switch to turn it on and off. It does have a 15 minute timer, but it doesn’t always work!Daughter was excited about this birthday gift. However, the button that pushes down when resting on a hard surface to convert from flashlight to lantern doesn't stay down very well. Thus, it trends towards constant flashlight which was disappointing for our daughterPurchased as a replacement since the first one stopped working but, grandchild loved it so trying again.Cute toy. 4 year old will love it.Made well enough but as with everything bluey it’s overpriced and not that big for the price. Little un loved it but soon got bored with it after a few nights. Much less time than any of her other previous nightlights - and she still loves bluey so can’t be that she has grown out of itBought for my granddaughter on her 3rd birthday and she just loves it. She just picks up the light to turn it on and it remains on for quite a while before turning itself off.No wires or anything, making it safe for a 3 year old. Well made too! This product doesn’t work. We bought this a couple of weeks ago and having inserted the battery the enclosure doesn’t fit properly and the product doesn’t work as a result. Please refund me as this product is faultyThis product has no on and off button so will cost you a fortune in batteries to run itAlso have to unscrew and screw it to use and turn offWorks as intended, kid loves it!Night light function not super bright so doesn’t keep child awake. Torch function brighter, enough to navigate a dark house. Turns off after 10 minutes as described.Only problem was ensuring the battery compartment was closed tightly or light wouldn’t stay on, but working once tightened.
