For the first time in my experience, we have a history book that focuses on sex. The history is presented in graphic novel format, which makes it easier to digest. The injections of humor also make it easier to accept.I think this is a good thing because most societies refrain from the topic of sex in any educational way.I learned a lot from this book about time periods that I was already familiar with, which was unexpected. Areas that I was already familiar with are accurately portrayed, so I assume that all of it is accurate. As a side comment, it is very obvious from the middle of the book on, that this is written by French people, as French stories and customs are featured more often than you would see elsewhere. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but speaking as an American, we're not used to not being the focus, so it does stand out.
