We actually got these to elevate my leg or stick under the mattress to elevate the foot of the bed after I had leg surgery and had to keep it elevated for weeks and weeks. I still use it for that all the time. We haven't actually used it for its intended purpose! I very much recommend these ramps to anyone looking for firm supportive washable ramps to elevate your head or legs after surgery! They are very durable and comfortable too. The removable velvet covers are soft and comfortable. Highly recommended.
