Even though over 20 years old, this is a very powerful expose about how the media, government and families all conspire to make gay men and women feel "less than" and stay in the closet. This may seem outdated for urban cities but is still relevant in rural and less enlightened areas of the US. A remnder that even though same-sex marriage is eminent on the horizon there are still many battles and wars to be fought in making gay men and women fully equal members of society.
