I bought this small, very handy cable, for the adaptation and end installation of a Corsair H100 liquid cooler. Upon the installation of the latter, I quickly found that the original Corsair male molex can easily loose any of the two pins, namely the +12 V and ground ones. When first inserted to the PSU's female connector the pins retract back and may very well get off the connector. In my installation I had to push one of the pins back into the connector with the help of a small blade screwdriver. After getting this cable I installed it after the Corsair's male connector, so that the cable's own male molex, which is far more robust, can be handled to the PSU and taken apart if I need to dismount the unit, and without any damage to the Corsair cooler. This is, in my estimation, a far better solution than, for example, trying to mend or replace the original H100's male molex. In addition, I put a red adhesive tape on the +12 V pin, because Corsair neglected to use a polarized (marked) cable. In their newer models (the 100i), by the way, they replaced the molex for a male Sata connector. Corsair is aware that the molex they supplied with the H100 is not of a very good quality.
